Job Summary and Responsibilities/Duties MISSION STATEMENT Increasing the success of children and families by building on strengths PURPOSE Develops strong nurturing relationships with children and families and quality partnerships that encourage family engagement in their child’s learning. Provides children with a developmentally appropriate learning environment in preparation for preschool success. Provides child development services, social services, health services and parent involvement services to families including home visits, advocacy and crisis intervention in accordance with Head Start performance standards, agency policies and procedures, and child care licensing rules and regulations.
