Compensation: $32.56/hour (plus .50 for Bilingual Spanish) This position’s general day-to-day responsibilities include: in-class observations of students that may be experiencing challenging behaviors, working with teaching staff to collaborate on and implement individual student plans, overseeing classroom inclusion supplies, professional goal development with classroom staff and other staff, prepare and engage staff and parent trainings throughout the school year. This role’s has primary responsibility to coordinate and implement the disabilities, inclusion services, and mental health component of the Head Start program to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. This role monitors for program quality and compliance, provides coaching/input to classroom staff related to disability, inclusion, and mental health services, reviews implementation, and identify professional needs. Rarely, this position may need to act as a substitute in a classroom if staffing needs are urgent.
